Katja Muttilainen
Katja Muttilainen (Varkaus FIN) has a background in light and lighting design, and is a creative art professional. She primarily uses light, lighting, and augmented reality applications as her mediums.
Muttilainen has designed and executed numerous lighting designs from theater and contemporary dance to circus and events since 1998, and has worked, among others, as a lighting technical coordinator, lighting technician, and lighting operator in event production.In addition to her recent part-time artistic work, Katja has been involved in teaching architectural and environmental lighting as well as light art, providing guidance to students (in light art and lighting design) and mentoring (e.g., lighting design projects).
