Anne Roininen

Anne Roininen is best known of her light art installations in apartment buildings, in which homes are illuminated in different colours. With these socially engaged site-specific light art installations she has successfully worked since 2012. Her artworks are spatial, with a strong basis on concepts. Roininen's techniques vary from sculptural elements to conversation with people. There often is a strong social charge in her work and the focus is on dealing with and conceptualizing everyday phenomena.
