Anna Björklund
Anna Björklund (she/her) is a visual artist and curator who lives and works in Fiskars, Finland. Playfulness with ideas, words, and motion are at the center of her work.
As a visual artist, Björklund mainly works with lens- and light-based media. Light is the key component in her work Light Beings, which has been exhibited at Lux Korkeasaari in 2022-23 in Helsinki and at the Material Light exhibition in Helsinki and Oulu in 2021.
Björklund has received several personal grants from the Arts Promotion Centre Finland and won an honorable mention in the Aalto University Public Art Competition in 2018.
As a Curator, Björklund has worked at the Finnish Light Art Society FLASH and at the Finnish Museum of Photography.
