Pasi Pehkonen: The message from the nest

A small-scale work installed on a branch. The work is a comment on the loss of birds and nature canopy.

The elements of this artwork are decorative; however, as an entity the installation is a commitment for the diminishing of bird species and nature canopy. The work resembles a bird's nest in a tree, in which the blinking magenta light ball is the "egg".

The message from the nest is a small-scale work, which is easy to set up everywhere. Only electricity and some branches are required. The materials used are recycled or used elements.
