Mollu Heino: Floris Vulgaris
The bouquet of various flowers
The work as a whole is a bouquet of various flowers. The petals of each flower are made from everyday things found in every home, such as cleaning supplies, plastic shopping bags etc. The work transforms the ordinary of everyday life and homework into something else. Everyday life appears both vulgar and beautiful. -The number of flowers can vary, the whole can consist of just a few flowers, but you can also build a large meadow of dozens of flowers. -The set is built in a space where the parts can be hung from the ceiling. It is also possible to hang the work on the wall. -The work can also be placed outdoors, when the work is made of waterproof materials.
